Little, Brown

Falls Boys is the explosive first novel in Penelope Douglas's Hellbent series, a gritty new adult romance set in the small town of Shelburne Falls. After a heist goes wrong, street-smart delinquent Aro and seemingly clean-cut golden boy Hawke find themselves on the run from the police, forced to hide together in an abandoned speakeasy hidden beneath a local bake shop. Trapped indefinitely with nothing but each other, their fierce mutual disdain slowly gives way to something neither expected, unraveling everything they thought they knew about class, control, and connection. Tense, atmospheric, and charged with slow-burn intensity, this is Douglas at her most daring. A must-read for fans of forbidden, high-stakes romance.
